Hello! I am Donald J. Leske Sr. I am a Licensed Managing Broker and the owner of BCI Properties, LLC in Tacoma WA. BCI specializes in residential single family home rentals along with small Multi-Family complexes. We are one of the top 5-Star rated companies in our area, having an A+ rating at the Better Business Bureau, plus top rankings on review sites. My wife Emily and I have been married over 44 years, with three children and seven grandchildren. We own several of our own rental properties.
My past includes many years of study and training for the ministry. My wife and I are investors in real estate. I am also an ASE Certified Master mechanic as well as a qualified webmaster at www.bciwire.com – Passions include world travel and I am an internationally certified PADI scuba diver…among other interests.
Our two sons are in related fields. The oldest Don is the owner of Leske Realty and personally sold over 48 homes in 2012 alone. Ben is the owner of Taylor Pro Construction, they are building 18 new homes in Buckley WA as of this writing and he is a Mortgage Broker.
We are developing a collective of students, property managers, webmasters and others, who will collaborate to build this website which is dedicated to public awareness of this growing industry. Since I am a licensed property manager, I know the inside story of how the system works in general. I am also a minister with a strong belief in God which serves me well in bringing truth and honesty to my every endeavor. Our webmaster’s assistant Josiah is a student at Indiana State University, a past tenant of ours and working on this project part time.
Mission statement: We work with a goal of National expansion, we will encourage and recruit web savvy agents in every state to become our agent of choice to update their state website with current and timely data about the various companies doing business in their areas and to act as a type of web-police to give credit where due and to warn the public of companies who do not follow or respect Fair Housing, HUD and/or Landlord Tenant Laws.
Future plans: We also wish to build a sort of “Clearing House” a “Tenant Blacklist” or a “Watch List” to warn landlords, owners and property managers of tenants who are slipping through the cracks and causing millions of dollars in damage to rental properties each year. Realizing the harm this can cause good people, we will for now just offer links to relevant information. See Tenant Blacklist.
Finally, we will see International expansion into Latin, European and Asian markets. Public inquires will remain free with planned income to mainly come from advertising and promotions.
Our Tech Team includes volunteers open-source webmasters and students from the USA mainly with some graphics input from ….no one yet, plus our in-house talent. Since this is not a publicly traded company, at this time we choose to not disclose specific personal data.
Rating Guidelines: A Property Management Company [PM], Rating is varied and complex. To be fair and unbiased is our first goal. There are hundreds of PM companies in the USA. Comparison: A survey was conducted to compare and review residential property management companies in Washington state, in terms fees and services in general.
